H.stories produced the Ronald van der Kemp haute couture show of 7 July 2026, at Galerie Joseph, rue des Tournelles in Paris. It is the fifth consecutive season our studio has worked with the House, from scenography to sound and lighting, through to the video capture of the show.
Galerie Joseph was used across both of its spaces, a large gallery and a more intimate one, with two backstages dedicated to preparing the models. Our teams handled the full build on the day, from benches and seating to lighting totems, before the doors opened. Filming began in the empty room, before installation, to build the visual story of the show through to the models stepping out into the street.
Show calling, the live sound mix and lighting support were handled in-house, with a dedicated sound engineer for setup and soundcheck. This end-to-end command, from the technical to the image, is what sets a company that truly produces apart from a mere supplier. It is also what makes it possible to hold a haute couture show, where everything plays out live with no second take.
Working with a House across five consecutive seasons changes the way you operate. We have produced the House's shows for five consecutive seasons, from scenography to sound and lighting through to video capture. This continuity gives us a fine understanding of its world and a well-drilled delivery at every edition.
Despite a particularly demanding edition, the coordination and responsiveness of the teams held every position through to the end. Ronald van der Kemp summed it up: « Thanks god you are my hero. I know this one was really not easy and you managed everything again. Thanks a lot. »
