H.stories has been producing activations in Paris for brands and their marketing departments for more than eleven years: the Kenzo pop-up at Galeries Lafayette (+70% in sales conversion, +115% in weekend traffic), four years of EssilorLuxottica press days (Ray-Ban, Persol and Oakley), the Louis Vuitton × FIFA launch on the Champs-Élysées. A brand activation is not measured by the number of visitors welcomed; it is measured in conversion, lead capture and lasting consumer engagement, well after the setup has come down.
Our promise: to produce memorable brand experiences in Paris that deliver quantified, concrete results to marketing departments. Whether it is a retail pop-up, a product launch or a multi-brand press day, every project combines the power of emotion with the rigor of performance.
Brand activation is no longer just an ephemeral physical event. Where an advertisement broadcasts a message, an activation creates a direct interaction and an emotional bond between the brand and its consumers. It has become a measured conversion lever, integrated into brands' marketing strategy in the same way as a communication campaign or their digital actions. For Kenzo, the agency's first historic client, we designed a pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann in 2017. The objective: to turn the shopping experience into a playful moment, true to the brand's identity. The idea: a giant UFO catcher, the plush-toy claw machine of Japanese arcades, placed at the center of the space to attract attention, spark visitor participation, and strengthen their engagement and interaction with the products. Thanks to smooth management and a balanced approach between visual boldness and commercial performance, the activation had a strong impact: the results exceeded the brand's expectations. An effective pop-up goes beyond the idea of a simple temporary store: it captures genuine purchase intent and enriches the brand's customer data and customer relationship.
A brand that wants to exist for a demanding audience must offer experiences that capture attention from the very first moments. The guest journey of a premium activation is built in four to six sequences: approach, welcome, product immersion, highlight, digital capture. For EssilorLuxottica, we orchestrated four years of press days around the group's brands, including Ray-Ban, Persol and Oakley: demonstrations, press cocktail, editorial photo and video kit delivered within 24 hours to maximize media amplification. After the FW21 press day, the group entrusted us with its following press events, then chose us to design its international guidelines, applicable to each market: a lasting collaboration, and loyalty built edition after edition. The successful brand experience is not the most spectacular one: it is the one that tells a story consistently.
The ROI of a brand activation is built long before the creative brief, not during the post-event wrap-up. That is why our studio partners with marketing departments from the very moment strategic objectives are defined: capturing qualified leads, increasing point-of-sale conversion, driving digital engagement rates, and maximizing the volume of reusable content generated by the campaign. This vision guided our work for Louis Vuitton on their 2018 FIFA activation on the Champs-Élysées, where content capture was designed for global amplification from the very first stages, never treated as an afterthought. A marketing activation campaign produces an average of 200 to 400 pieces of reusable content. If poorly managed, this asset evaporates within 72 hours. If leveraged effectively, it fuels a brand’s marketing communications for 6 months.
Our approach always begins with the consumer journey, never with the event venue. We first analyze the brand’s grammar, product codes, tone of voice, and the expectations of the target segment. It is from this immersion that we craft a bespoke experience, perfectly calibrated for its destination channel, whether it’s an elegant retail pop-up in the heart of a department store, a product launch in an iconic flagship, an intimate multi-brand press day, or an ephemeral immersive experience. For designer Ronald van der Kemp, four consecutive seasons of Haute Couture shows helped cultivate a captivating and consistent brand expression, show after show. Our conviction: consumer engagement is earned through precision and emotional clarity, never through excess. If you would like to explore how we bring these exceptional moments to life, we invite you to discover the world of our luxury event agency in Paris, as well as the work of our fashion event agency in Paris.
Five examples of brand moments we have produced, and the ideas each one is built on.
In July 2025, for Infold Games and its game Love and Deepspace, we transformed the Grande Arche de La Défense into a game universe for two days: scenography, stage layout, technical control and photo setups designed to encourage sharing on social media. More than 150 people were already lining up by 8:30 a.m. A playful and engaging gaming activation with a strong emotional impact, designed to extend the universe of the game. For Infold Games, it was a success in terms of audience engagement.
In 2023, for Chapel Down, the idea was an elegant face-off between a French champagne and an English sparkling wine, in a blind tasting, on the forecourt in Reims, chosen for its foot traffic and its visibility. A strong visual narrative guided the participants. Decor, guest journey, entertainment and lighting combined to offer a premium experience and enhance the emotional dimension of the tasting: the whole setup turned a simple launch into a memorable brand moment, carrying a contemporary and refined image.
In 2022, for the international launch of its The Drive Within campaign, Persol entrusted us with an intimate launch dinner at the Thoumieux brasserie in Paris. It brought together influential guests from fashion, lifestyle and photography, including Pedro Winter, Gaia Weiss and Vassili Schneider. The scenography stayed true to the spirit of the campaign (authenticity, passion and creative freedom), in an atmosphere inspired by Italian roads and the brand's vintage spirit. The event allowed the brand to strengthen its presence in the French luxury market, while creating a strong emotional experience.
In March 2026, for the retailer's 60th anniversary, we handled the design and production of an immersive press activation in Paris. Three spaces, Free, French and Fun, invited journalists and partners to explore six decades of innovation: a staging of connected glasses, a collector's workshop paying tribute to French craftsmanship, then the history of the brand decade by decade, through its iconic models.
During Paris Fashion Week 2019, at the Palais Vivienne, we welcomed nearly 100 guests a day, for three days, for the Dr Vranjes perfume presentation, an Italian brand of high-end home fragrances. Journalists, influencers and professionals came to discover the brand's fragrances along an immersive journey, with a personalized welcome.
A brand activation lives twice: on site, then online. On our pop-ups, capture is continuous throughout operation: photos, videos and digital formats for social media delivered day by day, not three weeks later. On platforms such as Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, this content prolongs the brand's resonance, its image and its awareness, and keeps the connection and interaction with an audience far wider than the participants alone, provided it has been designed together with the scenography, and not improvised on the ground.
For brands and their marketing and communication teams, the press and influencers are the other relay: our EssilorLuxottica FW22 press days brought together journalists and influencers from fashion and eyewear. Success is then measured by the strength of the content produced, the quality of the press coverage and the reach of the digital audience on social media in the weeks that follow.
A brand activation also plays out on challenges beyond our control. For Love and Deepspace, rain and storms accompanied both opening days: the team kept a hold on every detail to maintain a smooth, high-quality and memorable experience. For Luxottica, in 2021, budget constraints had to be reconciled with setting up the entire scenography in one night, between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. For Chapel Down, managing the flow of guests on the Reims forecourt came on top of complex logistical constraints. For Krys, the project went through significant operational adjustments: on-site management played a decisive role, and thanks to the direct supervision of our CEO, we were able to make decisions quickly and find solutions in time.

To entrust your next brand activation to a studio that has produced measured marketing dispositives in Paris for eleven years, write directly to H.stories leadership. First exchange focused on your marketing objectives, your consumer target, the activation calendar and the budget framework. We come back within 48 hours with a sector reading and a quantified methodological framing.
A brand activation is a marketing initiative designed to generate a quantifiable metric among a specific consumer target audience: sales conversion, qualified lead capture, extended digital engagement, or recommendation rate. It differs from a classic corporate event by its explicit marketing objective and the systematic measurement of its ROI. At H.stories, every activation is framed from the initial brief around indicators shared with the marketing department, never solely on the number of visitors welcomed.
Pop-up retail in department stores (Kenzo at Galeries Lafayette), flagship and in-store activations (Louis Vuitton × FIFA on the Champs-Élysées, a Christmas brunch designed in close collaboration with the Louis Vuitton teams in the avenue Montaigne store), multi-brand press days (EssilorLuxottica from FW21 to SS23), an immersive press activation (Krys for its 60th anniversary), a campaign launch dinner (Persol), experiences in public spaces (Chapel Down on the forecourt in Reims, Love and Deepspace at the Grande Arche), product launches, fashion shows designed as a complete brand experience (Ronald van der Kemp, five consecutive seasons), openings of the LVMH LIVE campuses. Each format becomes one of these marketing touchpoints between brands and their audience, not an isolated action.
ROI is measured on indicators defined before the dispositive, never after. Sales conversion measured over the activation period (at Kenzo: +70 %), point of sale traffic (+115 % at the weekend), qualified lead capture integrated into the CRM, volume and performance of content produced for digital amplification, engagement rate on owned channels post-event. Our approach: these indicators are set from the brief, shared with marketing leadership and arbitrated in the scenographic scenario before production.
A brand activation in Paris typically starts around 40,000 € HT for a compact retail pop-up format or a multi-brand press day. Flagship dispositives and multi-zone consumer brand experiences sit on a wider range depending on scenographic ambition and the volume of digital capture expected. Transparency on structural cost items from the first exchange, scenario-based quotes with variants, no free creative proposal outside a framed mission. The budget framework is set in the first conversation, never discovered at quote time.
Iconic department stores (Galeries Lafayette, Le Bon Marché, Printemps), flagships of the Golden Triangle and the Champs-Élysées, brand activation venues on the Place Vendôme, pop-up venues in the Marais and Saint-Honoré, atypical eastern Paris venues for young urban targets. Our studio recommends the venue based on the consumer target and the marketing dispositive to be deployed, never the other way around. The venue serves the activation, the activation does not serve the venue.
Between 8 and 14 weeks depending on dispositive ambition. A retail activation succeeds or fails in the 8 weeks preceding the opening, the period when technical staging, digital amplification planning, retail coordination and editorial asset production are calibrated. We also produce accelerated formats: the Louis Vuitton × FIFA activation on the Champs-Élysées was reconceived and delivered in five days after a creative direction change, without loss of standard on capture nor on the editorial kit.
Our approach begins with the consumer's journey, never with the event venue itself. Our process involves three stages: understanding the brand's identity and target audience (product codes, communication tone, expectations); designing the customer journey in four to six sequences (approach, welcome, product immersion, key moment, digital capture); and technical implementation, integrating lead capture zones, measurement points, and reusable content production mechanisms. Metrics are integrated into the event design from the outset, not measured as an afterthought.
Our primary base remains Paris, where we have produced over 350 events in eleven years. However, our studio also orchestrates brand activations across France (Bordeaux for the LVMH LIVE Campus, Southern France for confidential yachting and automotive projects) and internationally (Geneva, Milan, Dubai). We maintain the same marketing production standard for every deployment, with our French team traveling to coordinate local technical resources. The standard of a brand activation doesn't depend on geography; it depends on the rigor of the upstream marketing strategy.
